On February 1, 2025, President Trump issued executive orders imposing new tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China, effective February 4, 2025. These tariffs include a 25% duty on imports from Canada and Mexico (with a reduced 10% rate for Canadian energy resources) and a 10% duty on imports from China.
